“The Home Town Candidate”

John Odom has lived in State Senate District 20 since he was 6 months old.  He grew up on Carmel Drive in Lakewood where he was a Stober Elementary Stallion and watched the Broncos and their “Orange Crush” defense go to their first Super Bowl in 1977.  He then went to Manning Jr. High School in Golden where he played football and wrestled for the Mustangs.  He graduated from High School in Edgewater Colorado where he played football for the Jefferson Saints.  (His sister and one brother graduated from Wheat Ridge High School)

John earned his bachelor’s degree in Chinese from the Metropolitan State College of Denver and CU.  As part of his degree, he attended schools in China for an intensive, language immersion program.

After earning his MBA at the Thunderbird School of Global Management in Arizona, John returned to his roots.  He bought his first and only home in Wheat Ridge Colorado where John, his wife Olga and 6 year old Jack, all live, work, learn and play.  Jack attends kindergarten in Arvada.

John and his business partner own a small business located in Golden Colorado. Their company manages and distributes hospital products and services.  They have had their business in this historic city for 3 years now and have over a dozen people working for them.

John Odom’s lifelong connection to Colorado State Senate District 20 and knowledge of this beautiful part of Jefferson County has prepared him well for his run at this very important State Senate seat.  Rather than see the same people over and over as our representatives under the Golden Dome, let’s give a fresh, new face and perspective a chance.

Let’s elect a new, Home Town Candidate for State Senate in District 20!
